Geographic Breakdown of IR Courses

Note: this is not the official list of program requirements. These are only suggestions of courses with different geographical focuses. You must consult the Calendar, Degree Explorer, or the IR Program on your official program requirements.

To help students discover new courses, perspectives and regions in their study of international relations, below is a breakdown of IR courses by geographical region.

The IR Program is working on moving beyond limited worldviews and expanding the perspectives and courses available to students.

​

The Global/International category includes courses that either cover a wide range of regions or allow students the freedom to select a specific perspective or regional focus.
